It's an RC30, isn't it? With so many trick bits in the engine it can
    perform it's own magic show.

Indeed.. it's a lovely bike. I'd like one of those Hondas with the oval
    pistons though, very exotic. :)

Lovely. A proper piece of history, and one of the few Hondas I'd give
    garage space to. [1]
You don't know much about motorcycles, do you.

    [1] Also a CBX 1000, perhaps an RC45, mebbe a 400 Four.

Nar, I thought it was a gorgeous looking bike. Technological backwater
maybe but still gorgeous. Some silly person even made a street fighter
    out of one as well.

ISTR that a piston kit for one was about 2000 quid, eek.

I like the way he says it's 100% road legal with that headlight on it.

Those units have no beam pattern.

Yeh, that'll be why they're so cheap to buy. :) You're better off
finding an old head light off a CG or something, but doing this would
not be good for 'the look', whatever that is.

Which is a tragedy, considering just how fast the prototype one at Le
Mans was in 1987. It was "retired" by Honda whilst leading by more
than several laps, and was in danger of buggering up their #1 rider's
    chances of the championship, iirc.

It was noticeably faster than the RVF750 used by Sarron, Mattioli and
Battistini, who went on to win.

150bhp, and 145kg, allegedly. Which is a bit fruity for an endurance
motor that's nearly old enough to vote.

Team Bike took part, too, with big Roland cruising around on a
    GSXR1100. #82, iirc.
