Mainly looking to look good at night, so I was thinking of getting a
cheap one like a 749 and having it resprayed blue so it looks good at
    night and sounds good.

Has anyone here ever resprayed a Ducati blue ?, are there any blue
    Ducatis apart from maybe mine.

Who do you think is going to be seeing this thing in the darkness?
How will spraying it blue affect the sound?

    It's half term.

Expect plenty more shite like this over the next week or so.

Bloody youngsters! All 500SL Pantahs are blue, along with various
Darmahs and other stuff that I can't be bothered to check.

  7. Blue neons under the belly pan shining up onto the cylinder heads,
innit. Whirling wheels of light, you know it makes sense.

That was the 600SL, with orange and red stripes.
The twin book lists blue Ducatis from 1971, though the old ones
were ice blue rather than a dark blue that the OP wants.
Why he wants a blue bike is a mystery as they are all gray in the dark.

You can spray one as blue as you like, but it won't make it sound any
    different.
Most people are happy with the Ducati sound.
