But he's not, so that kind of poses a problem doesn't it ;-)

I'll take your word for it - I'm not going back willingly any time soon -
bunch of overpriced, under manufactured load of wank IMO.

Oh I wouldn't suggest you bought any of it. Where HD are concerned,
overpriced, under-manufactured wank is a generous assessment.

If you see him again, just tell him loudly and clearly to **** off.

    Seriously - I wonder if he's a repressed homosexual. He's got a
    leather waistcoat and everything.
    Me neither.

If you're struggling with your sexuality it's best to be honest with
yourself; don't try to hide it.

So as our HD afficionado, which model should I have for a week-long
tour in California later this year?

The Road King or Heritage Softail seem OK for tours, but I fancy
either a Fat Boy or Low Rider. Full list here:

    A goldwing or an ST1100?
Basic rule of thumb is that the Dynas and touring/glide models aren't
too bad (twin shock rear), except for the Lowrider where what little
suspension quality there is is compromised to make it low. Softails are
pretty dreadful if there is a corner involved in your journey.

Of the list, I'd opt for the Road king (touring - twin shock) and avoid
both the heritage and fatboy (as they are both softails) and the lowider
    because it's rubbish.

Looking at the list the Road Glide might be worth considering if you are
doing a few miles, or perhaps the electra glide, just because

Heh. We're riding Harleys just because we can. It must be
a mid-life crisis thing - the reason behind this trip is a
    combined 40th birthday.
Ah, didn't realise what the difference was until I Googled.
I think there may be some corners on the PCH.
OK but see above. For the this trip, image goes above purpose )
    <fx:dons flameproof suit>

I'm thinking probably Road King but I'll go the Watford H-D place
to try a few for size before the final decision.
Of course ) Thanks for the input.

  15. Hopefully your first comment will never happen thus rendering the second

  16. Is it? I somehow struggle to see how he would pass the Veggie test for
"decent type of geezer". You're not immune from wishing to see people
dead if I recall recent posts about DVD forgers.

OK then - I'll place him in salted boiling water for 20 minutes. Add
some milk and butter and then mash him into a pulp. Oh and add some salt
    and pepper.

Is that suitable "veggie" speak? ;-)

See? A little thought and you have a truly sick and twisted scenario
that is both amusing and bizarrely satisfying

TBH, thinking about it, I don't think I've ever heard anyone who's met
him say anything nice about him. You'd have thought, as a swinger, he'd
    have some people skills...

Drawing on another post in this thread, maybe he's only a swinger so he
has an excuse to look at other mens cocks.

Next time I see him, I'll ask.
