After being told that I'm the THIRD person to go through that window, as
well as some of the things OTHER people have done over the years, my
little stunt barely rated a decimal point.

    Oh, did I mention that I nearly ran over a 2005 V-Strom 650, 1200
    Bandit, 2 GSXR-1000s and 3 SV650s in the process? :)

Yeah, but I failed to read the warning on the label that 1st gear in
high gear range (there are 3) is an instant 0-7.2mph... and I only had
    15 feet behind me.

  4. Why? I'm betting you didn't balance your check book the morning YOU got to
smash it up, why should WE have to balance ours? Its only a 750, I could fix
a lowside on mine for what, $500 on ebay? And have something faster than Mr
    45 to boot!
Yeah...these things kinda come in groups once they get started it seems.

I've been think about new leathers ever since I found out about Kangaroo... Roo
is more supple and 1/3 lighter than Bovine...
I think the John Kocinski Castrol Honda replica leathers would go nice with
    Mr.RC45...

this... my fellow RC owners can only wonder when I going to park it... I don't

  15. Thanks Phil... actually the grooves take away traction so they suck... I place
my faith in the surface of compound... give more surface and less grooves...
I can't let it slide and forget it... the road rash make me ill... I prefer to
keep it looking good as new...

Bummer, but nowhere near as bad as it could have been. I
hope you get your bike looking like new again, soon. I'm still
waiting for my first street bike crash, after 30 years of
riding. Well, I'm not actually =waiting= for it, but it
hasn't arrived yet. I think if I had roads to ride on like
you do, I might have gone down a while ago....
    That gives me road envy...

In September and October 2003, McClellan said he had spoken
directly with Rove about the matter and that "he was not
involved" in leaking Plame's identity to the news media.
McClellan said at the time: "The president knows that Karl
Rove wasn't involved," "It was a ridiculous suggestion"
    and "It's not true."
Yet another in the endless stirng of bu$h's lies.

"They are waging a campaign of murder and destruction. And
there is no limit to the innocent lives they are willing to
take... men with blind hatred and armed with lethal weapons
who are capable of any atrocity... they respect no laws of
    warfare or morality."

"Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about things
that matter." -- Martin Luther King Jr.

"God told me to strike at al Qaeda and I struck them. And then
he instructed me to strike at Saddam, which I did."
    -- George W. Bush

"Hence today I believe that I am acting in accordance with the
will of the Almighty Creator: by defending myself against the
Jew, I am fighting for the work of the Lord."
    -- Adolf Hitler

"To announce that there must be no criticism of the President,
or that we are to stand by the President, right or wrong, is
not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable
    to the American public."
    -- Theodore Roosevelt (1918)

Don't let bu$h do to the United States what his very close

  19. Thanks Don... it was a good record... I was hoping for 30...

H36 surface catches a lot of riders by surprise... the first time I rode back in
88 I just survived it... then next time I challenge it a bit... those curves can
bite you but it's that kind of treachery that makes old 36 so damn exciting...

  20. Thanks Turby... I was part of the West Coast Meet of the VFRD forum... I think
the most fun was right out of Red Bluff when the back of the bike became air
