I tossed Mr.RC45 away...

I'm OK but I did tossed Mr.RC45 away in a hairpin... I should have known better
that H36 surface is bad... I just traveled across it the day before and managed
many a moments slipping about... this time I failed to notice a perverse patch
of sand on my line... as the front began tucking I thought if I can just unload
the tires a bit she'll bite... no way... I think that move put me in the thick
of it... I thought if I can just arrest the tuck with my knee slider... no
way... I'm sliding on my elbow now... in quick order my butt hits the pavement I
come to uneventful stop while Mr.RC45 continues up the hill... time to give
myself a good talking too... time to apologized to the VFRD group and to
Mr.RC45... oh damn... so ends 21 years of no spills... so now I'm thinking that
we got the crashing out of the way... let's go kick it and wick it!!!

Glad you survived okay, Larry. 21 years of no spills? That's a darn
good record.

But what the heck is an "H36 surface"?

Larry, it's a great time to start thinking about getting a V-Twin! You've
been in bed with Mr RC45 for too long, it is starting to look a little
disgusting. Maybe this was just the wake-up call that you needed? Isn't life
grand?

All in all it wasn't a bad weekend of riding... at least there was
no tickets and no trouble with the law... I can still hold a
smile but it make me sick inside every time I go out in the Busy
Little Shop and look at it... there's some plastic rash... you see
I watched Mr.RC45 bulldozed through a pile of dirt when it
skipped off the asphalt...

I hate being my own crash test dummy but now I know how my home made stuff
works... The Delrin frame sliders... non folding billet aluminum foot pegs and
billet
handle bars were designed as 3 hard points good for sliding down a track... I
gave
them passing marks for sacrificing themselves in order to protect the aluminum
tank
and most of the plastic...

First, I am glad you are alright. What a testament to wearing good
gear.

Second Mr.RC45 just has a little added character now and the patch and
repair will give you something to do when you are not riding.
