No, no, no - surely sig lists serve no purpose at all if they are not there
to completely baffle newbies and to prove that the owner was hanging around
ukrm when some event generated the start of a sig list.

Take me ITJWTFO#, for example; this group must be full of people who have no
idea who JW was or why I was the 6th person to tell him to **** off. And,
you know, that makes me feel a little bit superior to all of them :)

FWIW, I can see why people have been getting up in arms about the COSOC
list, but it's no worse than having a .sig number because you told somebody
to **** off, or because Auvache called you "sonny" or because, way back in
the mists of time, you were extremely pedantic. If people don't want to
have a COSOC# then they don't have to ask for one - what's the hassle?

The same applies to men with large bunches of keys. Especially when
    attached to their belt.

  8. Yep, that about sums it up. I've skimmed this group for the last 6 years
or so and it's pretty fucking boring right now.

I can see the point, but (pending getting one) I'd leave it in. I'm the
same person, with the same interests whatever group I post in. I don't
talk exclusively about bikes with other bike-people, and I'll talk about
bikes with non-bike-people. Leaving pointers to things you have
interests in gives subtle conversation clues to those who see them.

If you can't have this one, then APOSTLE should be considered for
exclusion. Does anyone have a two and an APOSTLE? If not then that's
just a car list and doesn't belong here.

'91 Renault 5. It was up for sale at 500, but I bartered. All other
conditions met. If I'm losing my two# for it I might as well have this.

Just as well really because I can't picture you in a long black
leather coat, with a big sword and staples holding your head on.

I've got a pyrex frying pan. It's shite for cooking with, as the cooker
    has halogen hobs.

The pan is still cold long after whatever you're cooking has burnt to a
    crisp.

Right, no. 14 awarded. I believe it's a 1993-ish Vauxhall Astra? (or is
    that Flook).
