I'd love to, but I turn green if I even look at the sea.

 

Well sure, at times. But sheltered anchorages need planning to get to,
then there's the standing in full sun while you drop the hook and wait
for it to be sure it's holding. You can't just 'stop' in the middle of
the sea, especially if there's any wind blowing, which there usually
was.

Anyway, it was more the time when we were stopped in a harbour that I
was thinking of. Especially overnight, when it still didn't drop much
below 30 outside, and not even that low inside the boat.

SWMBO has done Mont Blanc (but then who hasn't ? - well me for one).
She had a trip to the Matterhorn lined up but her knees got knackered
from too much sking and cycling.
