Imagine what the blather-rate would be if you WERE worth arguing with!

Unfortunately, I don't think he'll ever run out of "silly" arguments....
I just wish he had a few logical ones....

    Wow; that's a coincidence!
Up here "Garozza" is deaf-speak for "this dance is full of loser bogans".

A lot of European men kiss one another on the cheek, but you don't see them
shoving their heads up one another's arseholes [in public].

Sorry. Did you get the impression that I wanted the chance to vote for
or against JH? How did you get that impression?

You were the one that suggested that JH was popular because lots of
people voted for him. I merely pointed out that they didn't. Now
you're heading off in some other tangent.
I didn't know he was running for Mayor.

The bible is written by people inspired by God and is absolutely
literally correct. That's why we have so many versions.
There was a pre-OT God? Like in before "In the beginning......"

What did I miss? Did you not suggest that slave-owners in the US were
not Christians? I can assure you that they were.

Would you please not top-post. It's a pain in the arse reorganising
every post to make sense. If I ever kill-file you, that will be the
    reason.

That was cool. I managed (accidentally) to use the word read in two
pronunciations but only had to write it once.

What defines a Christian? Their opinion of who they are, or your's?
Lots of Christians do that. Bush, Howard, Blair, .... the Spanish
    Inquisitor.
Then you are wrong. They were indeed Christians working within the
mores of the society and time they lived in. At the time of the
Inquisition Spanish Jews had the option of converting or execution
after torture. Was the Inquisitor not a Christian. In Australia, the
Tasmanian abogines were exterminated by.... you guessed it,
    Christians!
I don't think it's a circle. You've got to the end of the road and see
the wall in front of you, but you've closed your eyes and kept going.

No, not really. I don't think a PM elected by the people would
necessarily have the backing of his colleagues, and so would have
    difficulty getting anything done.

What's it got to do with God... he didn't define what a christian is, the
    Romans did.

Sigh! It doesn't end, does it. If you recall this part started with me
disagreeing with you saying that the majority agreed with JH because
they voted for him. I said they didn't. You now agree. We now both
agree that we should not elect a PM.

Please acknowledge that the majority of people did NOT vote for JH as
    you originally stated.

If you read my posts carefully you will find I did not say that was a
good thing or a bad thing. You should try using logic instead of
emotion when reading and replying to posts. I believe a description of
the word is in most dictionaries.

Has it ocurred to you that people support people because they agree
with their point of view, and do not support people whith whom they
    disagree.
I do not encourage debate by email. I don't even know how to ICQ.

Pete, I know you won't be able to resist peeking at this post, when
someone disagrees with you, they could be mistaken. When almost
everyone disagrees with you, it's possible you have the wrong point of
view or an incorrect understanding. OTOH, you may be a fundamentalist
    Christian.

    Cheers
