  6. If it's anything like the Sainsbury's value stuff, it is.

    When times were really hard, I used to be able to feed myself for a
    fiver a week there.

    I don't remember everything, but the best buys were a big bag of oven
    chips: £1.28, 20 fish fingers: 59p, 6 tins of beans: 7p each, loaf of
    bread: 17p, a tub of really cheap marg: 29p. Then there was the milk and
    stuff but that's the sort of stuff that costs the same whatever; still
    good at 28p a pint, though.
