Yeah, I always buy "staple" stuff from the value range. Beans, for
example, or spuds, basic digestive biscuits. There really is bugger
all in it taste wise but a lot cost wise.

It's only stuff that I'm particular about, like coffee or sauces that
I buy branded because I like a specific taste.

    Indeed, Brother Spic.
Well, exactly. Cheap white bread for toasting, packs of cooking bacon
(78p for 600g), blocks of standard cheese, stripey cartons of standby
    milk, that sort of thing.
Aye. Selectivity, innit: a Finest multigrain loaf for proper butties,
smaller packs of better cheese, Lingham's Ginger Garlic and Chili
sauce and a couple of Heinz things, that ilk. Doesn't half drop the
    food bill without suffering.

Nice to see the shed numbers restored, Mungo.

  10. I do if I don't crash and die the next time I drive it. The pedal's nice and
stiff (Ob. "Ooer missus") but there's bound to be a lump of air hiding in a
corner somewhere because god hates me, as he does all of us. Apart from
    Cane, obviously.

I don't remember now, TBH. Some place in the NE, something tells me.

I have a spare set of slash-types spare here, as well as the original
set too. Well, original off a '94 1400 that is.

    Sorry to be a dim-witted cnut. But I'm a dim-witted cnut.
