The Tesco Value fruit pies I ordered from my supplier were delivered on
    time, and to specification.

    I rock.

For the manufactured stuff yes - but how do you 'cheapen' a potato, or an
    apple?

  11. SteveH will tell you more, no doubt, but it will be a combination of
less than A grade product, slave labour, cheap packaging, efficient
supply chain, and the ability to not need to make horrific profit on
some items, relying on other items and cost recutions to keep the
    profits going upwards.

Some of the Tesco Value range are exceedingly good products at dirt
    cheap prices, that's why.

In between abusing people here, I've been wreaking abuse on the long
grass surrounding Pixie Central ... not to mention the abuse heaped
upon the petrol-powered but no-longer-driven mower.

    I'm fucked.

I agree. Their Healthy Living line is a step in the right direction as well.
I'd rather shop at Tesco than Waitrose that's for sure fuckery.
