Haha. There's no way I would have guessed that those 2 pipes used to
    mate together in some way.

Glad it got you home though.

I'm betting Linda won't be hurrying on to the back of my bike any time
soon again after me needing to "briskly" catch up someone with a
    map :)

    ready, honest))

    It's still fine.
That was the most unconvincing "I was terrified!" I've ever seen.

I blame the extra weight of my shopping.

The presentation glass miraculously got back intact, though I was a
beer bottle down after it made a bid for freedom on some Belgian
    washboarding.

I did wonder what the cars were hooting at, I assumed they were
    hooting at Hogs 'enthusiastic' filtering.

You had to filter on both the way out and the way back?

You should have been on the earlier ferry out & the later one back. Or
taken a different route. No filtering for me; no siree!

We were doing up to 140mph. Slow I know but it was 2 up with luggage.

On the way back I couldn't figure out why everyone was leaving early.

We were last to leave the car park, moderate 95mph speed all the way
back and still made the early ferry with 5 mins to spare.

Did everyone go do some shopping or summat?

No. One stop for a coffee, before you passed us on the A16.

You had a very good "I don't want to ride a pogo stick" excuse for
    doing 50!

I had intended to go for the later ferry as I'd taken so long to stop
    the hammers inside my skull.
