I really should know better, what's the matter with me?

  1. So I had a Fazer 1000. I claimed at the time it was one of the best
"all rounders" there was. It took me all over Europe for 4 years
without a fault (other than a fan fuse), 30,000 miles and I could want
    for no more.

So I brought a KTM 990 Adv , which I claimed was the best all rounder
there was, 'cos it took me off road as well. 20,000+ miles and a few
niggles but never left me stranded. I took it all over Europe both on
road and off, and I could ask for no more.

So why have I traded it for a KTM 950 Super Enduro, that is in no way
an all rounder, will probably explode in spectacular style on a
regular basis, has a seat height measured in metres, a 13 litre
tank[1], and seat inspired by the Spanish Inquisition, and I could
certainly ask for a lot more?

Oh I remember now, 'cos I'm not dead yet and I fancied one. I have
that "I'm picking a new bike up Saturday feeling" which I've missed
over the last 4 years :)

    cheers

    SS

[1] actually I'll put a 30 litre one on before touring
