I need to stay away from the auctions

Discussion in 'Australian Motorcycles' started by Fraser Johnston, Aug 26, 2008.

  1. I now seem to own 2 GSX-R 1000s. An 04 and an 07. Both have a fair bit
of damage but it looks like I will break up the 04 for parts and repair
the 07. Now I have to decide which to keep, that the Triumph. : )

  4. Nah. If the 07 is worth repairing, it's worth more money as a sideshow
attraction at trackdays; roll up, roll up and see the only 2005-onwards
GSX-R1000 which has been crashed without sustaining major structural
    damage to the frame.

The first step is to admit you have a problem...

    JL
Then there's 9 more steps to go :)

    He's only got 3 bikes. That's not a problem, that's an insufficiency!

  10. 4. I have the wee strom as well. Though I would really like a dirt bike
too. And a sidecar outfit for carting the kids around in. And......

  11. Blackbird and the VTR250 were sold a couple of weeks ago. The SV650 is
my friend in Melbournes girlfriends bike. I think I am only happy with
    4 bikes. : )

  12. I am guessing I'll ride it and see which one I like more.

  16. Stop being cruel. I have 0 at the moment. I am determined to get
another one over summer though. The withdrawal symptoms are getting
too much for me at the moment.

Anyone want to sell me a litre class sports bike really cheap?

I have a classic sports bike for sale cheap, a pristine 1989 Kawasaki
    GPz900R.

I need to shift it as I have another bike on the way and only have room for
    6 in my garage.

  19. Where are you and how cheap? The auctions are a great place to get
bikes stupidly cheap as long as you have some tools and mechanical
apptitude. And don't mind spending hours on ebay scouring for parts.
