one of my cats (the brave one, not the cranky one) sat on my old bike once,
and looked as if he thought he was pretty cool. Seeing as he screams like a
banshee whenever I put him in the car, I thought he might prefer the wind in
his fur on our yearly trip to the vet, so I started the engine on the GPX to
see how he would react - yes, Virginia, cats CAN fly.....

betty, back to the drawing board

I've honestly shot two family cats after they played with a local brown
    snake - and lost. Felt.......good.

Saw a mate try to free a feral cat from a rabbit trap in Karoonda while we
were halfway throuogh a shooting weekend. It happened so fast,
neither of us had much time to think about it before Andrew got to within a
metre of the trap. The "poor innocent kitty" leapt up and slashed
the entire length of Andy's forearm, deep enough to make the neighbours'
    eyes water.

But Jeebus, nothing cleans a rabbit trap of feral animals faster than a
    couple of rounds of #6.

We're only wishing we did that first, I wouldn't have had to take him to
    Murray Bridge for tetnus shots.

I'll remember the lump of wood next time - maybe there's a technique to it.
Do you remember if you breathed in or out on the backswing ?

Had to dispatch a cat with a lump of wood after I backed over it in the
car once. Had to beat all nine lives out of the bastard...

You can admit to liking Guzzis at any time.

    That's a given.

    Zebee
    - who is still convinced that JohnO needs a Guzzi he does.

Lead means less chasing unless you have a doggie along .

You'll have to provide the nutz.
As long as you don't leave the nutz out where people can see them...

I've had several cats but am between cats.. however I didn't get my bike
licence 'till I was catless. Coincidence, or Mi5 persecution ?

  19. 1080 you say?????

Funny thing is I don't think 1080 has a secondary poisoning issue,,, I'll
    have to check that one.

  20. It depends on the dosage,,, if there is secondary poisoning ossuring in the
numbers you say, then the contractor who did the job has over-done the 1080
    (sodium fluoracetate).
