Atomic magazine has rerun the Uberlinux box project on the last issue's CD.
Well worth getting a copy. Just happens to have a copy of Knoppix on the CD
    as well...

If you're going to be a Linux weenie, you may as well get to
    know 'wget'.

Yeah, I did much the same. If your interested in a low noise low power
solution for your linux magic box check out this link for some ideas.

your can get these mainboards from quite a few places in OZ but the
best range is always international and in particular in Germany where
    they are a hit.

Thy this site http://www.bebensee.de/shop/index.htm and take advantage
    of the strong aussie dollar.

The Uberlinux CD is helpful. The version of Knoppix on the CDs i got with
the mag is broken. The isos I downloaded and burnt of Knoppix worked.
    Therefore, Atomic Knoppix is bjorked.
Anyone running iptables and running broadband should have a look at the
    iptables script at http://orbital.wiretapped.net/~technion/.

But wtf does this have to do with ausmoto?

  11. The plan eventually is to have the Linux box as my gateway/router/proxy etc
    so I'll read aus.moto thru it. :)

  13. It needs to be a FTP server and web server and a fancy router to the local
wireless mesh so I don't think smoothwall can do it.

and I wanna learn linux. :)
