Funny, really - when one casts one's mind back to ones teens/early
20s, one *always* thinks of the gurlies one, um, encountered.

And they all seem to be called Wossname. Memory fades.

Shame, she was gorgeous. She was my old landlady's daughter, used to
wake me up sometimes by trying to smother me between her ample breasts.

This was about a year after I had my second heart attack. I think she
was trying to kill me, but what a way to go ;-)

Oh couldn't we go back to 1976 instead...

Ipswich won the cup, our first holiday to a forrin country
(Scotland, but it counts in my book), and my first encounter
with female anatomy, however brief (I remember the sound of
her mum unzipping the tent to this day!).

Ignore the above, that was 1978 not 1976...

OK I'm on my second bottle of wine and the Stellla's just
kicking in, I'm allowed to be a bit fuzzy...

I lost my virginity in 1976 :) I'd like to go back to that year, but
with the knowledge and experience I have now.

Just think, I could *invent* stuff like Power-valves and Exups.

    Go on - what happened?

(Or was this your Mum being disgusted by your Oedipus complex and
leaving the tent in a hurry?)

Nah, what you want to do is wait a few years saving up your
pennies, then buy a couple hundred quids worth of shares in
Microsoft and Cisco. Just remember to sell them all in the
mid 90's, don't hang on too long...

Well not much HAD happened (we were both only 12 so still
fairly innocent), just a bit of fumbling and groping, but no
less exciting and amazing for all that.

Then a lot of shouting and me running across the campsite
pulling up my rather lovely purple flared cords, whilst her
mum chased me, wacking me on the head/back/legs with an
umbrella. It's not the sort of memory that ever fades is
that... (like my 18th birthday exposure and alchol
    poisoning)
Yeah, and on the way there I beat up this old bloke who gave
me some hassle on the road...

  17. Bad Form Post Alert

Well, I've collected it. It is utterly original and in surprisingly good
nick. The faded paintwork has come up like brand new with T-Cut. Utterly
superb. I'm sure the alloy and chrome will too.

No key - apparently it's ordered and should have arerived. Swears blind
he'll post it on to me. We shall see.

Tyres are Avon Skidmasters front and rear :)))

Seat needs a new cover, and the pan pay be cracked - I won't know until
I get the key and open it. If it is, nothing a bit of sheet steel and a
few pop rivets won't cure. Switch blocks on both bars are a bit tired
and missing little plastic knobs. That may be hard to track down.

Some pitting on the forks, but above the bearing surface.

And 12797 miles on the clock!

I'll stick some fresh fuel and a new battery in it, clean out the carb,
    and see what transpires.

When I went to put a new air filter in mine, I discovered a spare key behind
the sidepanel, wire onto the airbox cover.
Rear is a 3.25-17. Replacements may be hard to come by.
I've got a spare LHS switch block (incomplete) courtesy of Champ, if you're
    desparate.

Just been out to the shed, and I can't see it. I may have binned it.

Heh. Nah, just my little joke...

Right, it seems to be in GWO apart from the bottom half casting, which is
broken at the lower clutch pivot hole. All the electrics seem good,
including the plugs on the ends of the cables, so if you've got a sound
bottom casting, it should be easy to make up a good one. You can have it
    for what it cost me.
