I love Amsterdam

Got nicely out of my tree in a little bar there last night.

half a dozen of us, having the most stoned pool session I've enjoyed for
ages....

And the guvnor was flicking through the channels on the TV, trying to
find something. In quarter-second flashes we got Sky News, MTV,
something in Dutch, something in German, and a snapshot of an expertly
delivered blowjob before he settled down to some bleedin' programme on
cycling.

One of the Yanks with us did the finest double-take I've ever witnessed.

"Did you see that?" he demanded of me. I conceded that I had.

"You did? Damn it!"

I asked why that made him so upset.

"It means I'm not as stoned as I thought I was....."

 

I'm still trying to work out why at 1.30am on Monday night I took a
photo of the toilet in my hotel room while sitting in the bath.

Fo that matter, I'm still trying to work out what I did between 12.30am
and 1.30am when I took the photo, and what I did between then and 6am
when I woke up fully dressed and feeling diabolical.

And apparently I'm going skydiving on Saturday morning with a bloke I met
in a pub on 3rd Avenue last night.

This is turning out to be an interesting business trip...
