I've decided to not worry about which party a candidate is in, but vote
for what they'll do, or have already done, for our area and for me. As
it happens that isn't a BNP candidate, but for years in our area it was
a Communist party candidate! Trouble is, the current bunch here all
appear to be more talk than action (When aren't they) ... and we have
to elect a new Mayor too!! (Doncaster).

  4. THERE IS NO SUCH WORD AS 'RACIALIST'!

C'mon Hog - you are supposed to be an intelligent bloke. The word you
    are looking for is 'racist'.

  5. Heh. They have to here. Bank manager one day, sweeping the streets the
next. It's only a token thing mind, as they mostly sit in the shade
    smoking.

So the UK can be as successful as Ireland?
If the work were there to be done, you wouldn't need claimants to do
    it.

Whose definition of fascism are you useing?

    A like this one:

The word 'Fascism' is almost entirely meaningless. In conversation, of
course, it is used even more wildly than in print. I have heard it
applied to farmers, shopkeepers, Social Credit, corporal punishment,
    fox-hunting, bull-fighting, the 1922 Committee, the 1941 Committee,
Kipling, Gandhi, Chiang Kai-Shek, homosexuality, Priestley's
broadcasts, Youth Hostels, astrology, women, dogs and I do not know
what else... almost any English person would accept 'bully' as a
    synonym for 'Fascist'.

    – George Orwell, What is Fascism?. 1944.

  9. Uniforms, ITYF. Fascists have glorious, impeccably cut uniforms,
    communists dress like LU employees.

I'm happy to take the modern European useage, describing the attributes
of the NSDAP in Germany and the PNF in Italy. Franco didn't allow a
political party per se. Given the history any other application is
    frivalous.

Hardly an example to be held up!!
Or in education. Proper work or education/training. Nobody should get
paid to do nothing. It's really bad for them and for the taxpayer.

I'd apply the same to Prisons TBH. There should be an
educational/training goal in gaol if you like! formulated depending on
your sentence. And you don't get out or make parole until you satisfy
    it.
