It's a small apartment, I've barely enough room to lay my hat and a few

Becuase you can lead a horticulture but you can't make her think?

Heh. I see your bathroom refit and raise you a bathroom install +
wall/floor tiling, plus a kitchen refit, plumbing, electrics & 270
    terracotta floor tiles.

I hence reclaim my DIY daddy tool belt. Next challenger please ;-)

FFS - I demolished a large bush yesterday and today can't move due to back
    having seized up.

You're like twice my age and yet if I'd tried what you'd listed I'd probably
    need A&E treatment.

  5. Yes but I would have done your bush with a chain saw and a wood chipper.
    Less pain :)
    I love buying tools.

That's similar to what I used.... it was the picking up the debris /chucking
into chipper that caused most of the problem.

coving lounge and kitchen. Fitting new lights, full central heating

    heh. Not bad.

The CU is on the back burner, but will need to be done if I stay here.

Porcelain fuses don't, err, rock :-/

    Cheers,

****, where were you when I wanted someone to do my bathroom tiling?

Had to pay someone to do it in the end, cost me about a grand, all in.
