Actually it's Krusty who will argue the point about the number.

I might change mine to say "32" - there was a famous little bloke who rode a
green bike with that on it

    Hmmm... well spotted Johnno.
The "hot' set-up used to be to try and get the swingarm pivot as close as
possible to concentric with the front sprocket so that the sprocket to
sprocket distance wouldn't vary throughout the arc of the swingarm and the
bike wouldn't squat as much under power, but the MV does seem to have the
    pivot a fair way back....
(It doesn't seem to be quatting much in the top photo though!)

    ....and a joy as a GP/WSB commentator!
His (sadly too) few appearances on the old SBS GP telecasts were hilarious
and his occasional trackside Phillip Island commentary is a highlight of a
    GP trip.
Dry as a Sao (and he generally gives Wootton heaps so that's a bonus!)

Stop it Daron; I'm getting all misty!

  11. You need to get out more Clem, Steve Cutting has been racing one of them
(well, the 750, not the 1000) all year in the Bears championship...
