I have successfully accommodated Cane's enormous tool

Discussion in 'UK Motorcycles' started by Wicked Uncle Nigel, Jan 24, 2008.

  1. Huge, it is.

Many, many thanks to Cane for the mill and for his incredible patience
with my fucking about trying to get "organised".

Many, many thanks to Pip for transport, moral support and help with the
    move.

And a big up to the transport company for making it all look easy.

I found someone with a brain at Machine Mart.

Splendid. May I potentially bother you if I ever get around to sorting
out the suspension bushes on the MX5?

Oferfuxxake, I'm obviously not able to drive Xananews at this time of
    day.

This reply was obviously intended to WUN's post one level up.

By all means, old chap. I'd be more than happy to help.

For normal street use? Well, they've done about 100k...

Muggins here would like to have a bit more precision on turn-in when
hooning around Brands Ha^W^W^W^W carefully puttering around the local
roundabouts. So I was contemplating fitting polyurethane bushes
    instead...

This may or may not come to play now - I've been keeping an eye out for
a trackday-able car as I think it'd work out cheaper to buy an already
converted car instead of doing it myself. It looks like I may have
found something suitable (the bloke certainly spent enough money on it
by the looks of it, and he seems to know what he's doing) even though
it is a tad more expensive (ok, bit more than a tad) than my original
    budget.

If this car is as good as the owner says it is and I actually manage to
improve my driving to the required level this year, then there may
actually be another UKRMer partaking in the mug's game of motorsport
    next year.

****, I can't believe I actually wrote this. That particular bug bit
hard and fast; another of these "I can't believe I didn't do this
    earlier" things.

I have a press. Unfortunately it's a big meccano kit at the moment
    with some instructions.

If you wanna build it, you can use it :)
