You could do a Graham Hill and make a new bunker in a golf course.

I sort of it at school, but only in the sense that it was a better
choice than the other winter sports options of rugby or hockey.

Not me but my big brother.
Only 65 years old but still loves his fell running and
    competing in the vets section.

He is a mad bastard, mellowed somewhat with age.

Mmm, I did cross country instead of netball and hockey. Although I did
actually quite enjoy it, ran for the school a couple of times.

I did it to escape the bullies, as they were inherently lazy and
preferred pushing me over on the netball courts or cracking me on the
    shims with a hockey stick.

I was too good for them across country, and they preferred to use the
time to sit in the woods having a fag.

Would it be impertinent to ask where you required to have shims fitted?
    Sounds like fun.

  16. *ding*

Being a bright, speccy-wearing kid from a religious background ensured
that my schooldays were most certainly *not* the best days of my life.

I prefered playing basketball as that was deemed 'uncool' by the
bully-set.. And being tall and skinny was (for once) an advantage.

  17. Made-up-technical-term alert..

The strip where the batsmen stand and the bowlers bowl. I couldn't
think of the term for it..

Which, the batting crease, the bowling crease, the popping crease or
the return crease? Be specific, man.
