They are so ill-responsible. The only good drunk-driver is a dead one. They
    are as low as paedophiles.

You a thousand time chances of being killed by a drunk-driver then being
    murdered.

We all know what your views on the subject are but the problem is it’s
not black and white is it? The last time I drunk drove was because I
received a panicked phone call from one of my fathers tenants because he
was dancing round the house and the street naked in a hypoglycaemic
hallucination and given that he lives next to a large and fairly rough
estate in Pimlico I genuinely feared for his life, as I was the only
family member in London at the time I drove from Earls Court to Pimlico
pissed [1] and you think that makes me worse than a paedophile?

Also I remember from somewhere that in the bad old days before drink
driving regulation that the vast majority of alcohol vehicle interface
related injuries and fatalities were pissed pedestrians walking or
staggering into the path of sober drivers, funnily enough the overall
figure hasn’t changed as mush as nanny wanted. Also I think that in
sufficiently rural arias where the population density is low enough
drink driving should be allowed as farmers can’t afford taxies and lead
a depressing enough life as it is, they need to have some fun, but
that’s just my opinion and we know what they say about opinions.

[1] though a lot soberer than I had been at the start of the phone call

There are people who are trained to deal with those situations, haven't you
heard of the police? If you really had to be there, why didn't get a brother
or a friend to drive or take a cab?

There is no-excuse for putting other people's lives at risk. Then you was
drunk, if a child ran a-cross the road in front of you, would you have been
able to stop in-time. ...(I don't think you would be able to)

You might think I'm a fool, but I'm not as stupid as you think. I do know
    what I'm talking about.

Drunk drivers scare the life-out of me, on the road.

What impressed me most is that he could spell 'paedophiles', but not
    'murderers'.

Posting at the top, there's a clever little troll. Enjoyed any dogging
    recently?
Only in the hope one of them would either kill you or maim you so badly
you couldn't use a keyboard or any other sort of input device come to
    that.

My views on this dogging have changed on that subject, I was talking rubbish
in the past. A drunk driver on the road its like letting tigers out on the
    loose.

If you are happy with drunk-drivers on the road, I suppose you will be also
happy if we lot all the murderers out of jail and walk the streets.

  13. You'd be surprised. Some of them have jobs in town, and occasionally come
back on the same bus that my wife catches.

If someone murders someone else, then that person is a murderer. If they
then get slung in pokey for 30 years, sooner or later they're going to be
released. But they'll still be a murderer...

It was the ">>> wrote" line on its own that did the damage. For a man of
limited intellect it caused confusion and alarm.

    I could probably sue.

Except that I've almost certainly fucked this post up too.

    *Sigh*

I'm going to bed. You lot can please yourselves.

There are two problems with that otherwise excellent suggestion
    1. The London police are too busy to attend the seen of a crime the same
day, [1] let alone to nanny some to all outward appearances very pissed
and fairly aggressive toff into bed.
    2. My Father is a hang over from an earlier age, when he was brought up
the local bobby doffed his cap to you, the change in times combined with
many run-ins with the law mainly for speeding has left him with a fairly
negative attitude towards Her Majesty’s Constabulary and when he’s hypo
he can get a bit irrational to say the least, you really need to be a
family member to help him with out getting thumped.
And all my friends would be pissed on a Friday night, also there is the
    time pressure.

As for getting a cab, it can often take up to half an hour to find one
at that time of night around Earls Court, it’ll be safer for my farther
and anyone he meets if I just drive there but conscious of the fact that
my reactions are impaired so double my following distance and use the
Embankment instead of the Kings, Fulham or Old Brompton Roads where
people are more likely to cross the road in front of you.
There shouldn’t be any children out at 2:30 am and I don’t believe I did
put anyone at risk, I spent large portions of my child hood driving
round the farm in an old Vauxhall shove it with no front windscreen
while a friend persecuted the local wild life with a shotgun from the
passengers seat, [4] pissed as farts we were, now I’m not claiming this
makes me a drink driving god or anything, also I’m not saying drink
driving is OK, but I do know how alcohol affects me as a driver and by
taking care I think I can drive reasonably safely at say double or
    triple the legal limit.

[1] when my sisters hand bag was stolen from the same house by an
opportunist climbing in through the window [2] the police turned up 3
days later to try and lift prints from a public fence and the window
sill, apparently the seen was to polluted to lift any reliable prints,
that and the fact their were about a thousand of the things. [3]

[2] I know it was her stupid fault for leaving the bloody thing open but
    it was a heat wave

[3] and when I arrested a mugger I had to tell them that I was in the
process of throttling him until he passed out to stop him fighting back
to get a speedy response, initial estimate was 20 minutes and the guy
was very keen not to be apprehended, he got 7 years for the collection
of crimes he was wanted for.

[4] now this is possibly a bit dangerous but if you think about it (and
I did) with the passengers window up (which it was) it's virtually
impossible to shoot anyone in the car from the passengers seat.
