so what form of transport was he using then?

Exactly. I've no idea. I generally don't follow the fortunes of the
'Blingmobile', as most of the posts talking about it are aimed at a
small 'in-crowd' of which I'm not part. I've more or less understood
that it's a bike, but as 'Shagwash' is a word I'd never seen used here
before, either I'm as thick as Robbo, or else it wasn't really clear to
anyone not familiar with the aforementioned 'in' posts, what he was
using.

shagwah [1] = jaguar car. A recent acquisition in the Eaton garage.

[1] I think this may even have an Austin Powers type film connection but
as I am clueless about the movies I may be talking complete and utter
bollocks.

the group about the purchase, collecting it, driving it - everything.
