....which just went to prove how long it must have been since I last went in
there, going by some of what I saw.

The new GSXRs... no idea how long they've been out, but was surprised by the
SRX'esque exhausts they now sport - they somehow look a bit insubstantial,
and given the vogue for as long as I can remember to have a nice big fat end
can on most sports stuff, do they actually work all that well?

And the real shocker... the new Triumph Daytona 675.

I had to look at it more than once to acknowledge it really was a Triumph,
and not something Italian - very impressed with the general look of it,
    anyone ridden one yet?

Well you posted this at 4:51am so when did you go? Midnight? Were you
robbing the place? Did you get me anything?

    About 3pm.

Much as I get the urge to post 'breaking news' in here the moment I am aware
of it, I can't always get to my PC straightaway.

    Or something.
    Yes.

    Nope.

I can't always sleep straightaway when I get in from work, so, amongst other
things, I tend to do a bit of reading / posting to usenet to while away the
time as I'm winding down from 'a hard days night...'

As what? I wouldn't imagine Suzuki would put something on it's products
that causes them to not work very well.

IMO, those exhausts are fantastic and actually show some real thought
went into them, rather than the underseat ones which are purely fashion
(and I own a bike with underseat exhausts).

And it seems the aftermarket lot can still make alternatives too, so
everyones a winner in one form or another.

Would you agree that the Bandit isn't _quite_ their flagship motorcycle
    range though?

  9. Quite, and if you'd said: "I wouldn't imagine Suzuki would put something
on its flagship products that causes them to not work very well." I'd
    have agreed wholeheartedly.

And indeed he did. Plan A went to shit, but the secret emergency backup
    plan went perfectly. Hurrah!
