I Don't Want to Brag ..

.... but it happens _sooooooo_ infrequently..

There's a bit of my morning commute where the road doubles back, curves
around past the Ceramics Museum at Sèvres, and then goes up onto the N118.
I'm sitting at the lights when matey on what I think was a Kawasaki, all
street-fightered, comes up next to me, revving the nuts off it. A nod, and
the lights change. On the bend just before the N118, he swerves in front
of me, no indicators. I sort of shake my head and let him past. Onto the
N118 which climbs quite steeply and has three very delicious curves, left,
right, and left again. Ninja boy shoots past me, I think, 'I'm never going
to touch _that_ !', so let him go. First bend, he slows down, forcing me
to slow down almost to walking pace. Past bend, he shoots ahead
again...and promptly slows back to walking pace at the second bend. 'He's
shitting himself', I say to myself. As well he might, 'cos the road was
damp, and if you don't know the road .. plus it was 06h50, so almost pitch
dark.

Third bend, same story, I think, '**** this ...' and shoot past him on the
inside, and disappear into the distance.

Hee ... Des on his shite old K100... it probably won't ever happen again,
but it _was_ fun...
