    Oddly enough, I did about 400k [1] today and barely broke the speed
    limits. I was having one of Bear's "nothing is going to piss me off"
    drives. Interesting experience, but I doubt I could have done it on a bike.

    I spend every working day driving around in the Golf[1], and except for
    motorways I tend to stick to the speed limits. I find it very easy to
    drive slowly, but almost impossible to ride that way, even when i'm on
    bikes that will barely reach 60mph.

    When I'm riding slower shite I find my riding goes to pot and
    I do stupid things that I wouldn't dream of doing on bigger bikes.

    I've been mostly taking a pillion round Brighton for the last couple of
    days, and thoroughly enjoyed it for once. I didn't used to like taking a
    pillion until I finally got a good one.
