    thing.

Yes I have a yellow Ducati but I couldn't find any other.

    Good find, thanks.

Someone that is able to come to me is much handier.

    I shall book them.

I suppose if someone bought a new car on PCP, changing it every year, they
would chuck it at the garage to get everything sorted and the stealer would
probably sort out everything under warranty.

Anyone else who doesn't put the dealers kids through Uni would have a lot
    more bother though.
Will be a little while before I can do anything with those alloys anyway.

I have to get a Z3 steering rack for the M3, get neighbour to fit that and
the coilovers, get him to give me a sheet of his garage headed paper saying
"the tracker is model blablabla" for the insurance co, sort out the other
alloys + bung new tyres on, swap ins over, tax it and then I'll be in touch.

Hmm, logical challenge to the URKMisti.

A garage is too small to get all round the car and work on it.
You need to get all 4 wheels off a car to be sent off.
You do not have any spare wheels.

If you take the wheels off the car outside the garage how do you then move it
    into the garage?

I suspect I'll end up leaving it on the drive whilst wheels are sorted :)

So no matter what the car, they should all be forced to fit engines that are
capable of attaining the max legal speed limit (70mph) and no more?

    Ditto for bikes?

    <steps up>

It's a hard job but someone's got to do it.

I'll volunteer to drive so long as I can choose the route between A and B.

    Depends where you're standing.

Stand on the North pole and moving Europe left puts it in Russia-ish.

That's because it was a cheap Chinese import.

    Porsche produce the Cayman.

What's the surface like? Trolley jacks should manage it.

Engines with those capabilities aren't the most fuel efficient at 70,
    so no.

What I do believe though is that there agreed standards around
acceptable minimum levels of pollution, that the majority of the
developed world already comply with. Fisrtly the remainder of the
developed world needs to be brought into line with these standards,
secondly the developed world needs to bring the reamining undeveloped
    countries up to spec.

When we get there, then we can look at ways to improve the standards
    consistently for everyone.

    Make sense?

  12. Sky hook.

    Simples.
Arrange a container truck with Hiab to call, remove wheels and leave
    Porch on bricks.

    Alternatively...

Build a four-pillar frame in the garage (this might involve temporarily
removing the roof). Build a giant kid's swing and remove the wheels
outside, kick the bricks away and the Porch will swing back into the
    garage.

For sopme reason though, pant problems aren't always oooked on as defective.
The dealers try to put the blame on the environment or the use of the car.
no surprises there, but they are cunts for doing it. Crap paint is crap
    paint, after all.
On that subject, I was nattering to the boyshic and he reminded me why
powder coating isn't good on wheels. Brake dust eats it, particularly the
leading edges of the spokes. Not good.
2 bike lifts from Machine Mart (strapped or bolted together) and 4 axle
stands. They're on wheels and they're truly marvelous.
Well no ****'s going to drive off in it.

Only got two trolley jacks and one each end would be far too wobble for my
liking, even when the car's not moving.

I've heard that, and heard the usual reply "fucking clean them regularily
then" which always makes me chuckle.
    This is my thinking.

    Apart from America.
    America, China, etc, yes.
That's going to be a big headache, a lot of the underdeveloped countries have
leaders too stupid to accept any form of help, for anything.
    Yup.

So whilst the yanks are spewing out loads of CO2 and proper nasty gasses I'll
be happy driving my cars :)
