    Yeah, except the "loud pipes save lives" thing is an excuse, not a reason.
    People have loud pipes because they like the noise, and they like to seem
    rufty-tufty and dangerous to know.

    It breaks my heart every time I pop along to an SV gathering and hear
    all the loud cans on slow bikes. It's like a dictionary definition of
    All Mouth No Trousers.

    You obviously have forgotten how LOUD a Bantam can get on the standard can
    and original baffles. Other SO 2smokes are probably as bad.
    Not a lot of trousers in 175cc.

    True not a lot of grunt in my scooter compared with something bigger..
    but more than you'd have thought for something that's only 172cc. Ask WC
    as a I followed him on his GS650.
