  1. .... and found a Honda motorcycle!

I'm going to take it for it's test tomorrow. Wish me luck.

  5. Makes sense, considering the average annual mileage of bikes. What
doesn't make sense is the total lack of a test here at all.

My scooter makes a nice [1] sound when you snap open the throttle, on
account of all the lightened / tweaked bits on it[2]. Although it sounds
nice, it really is a little on the loud side when the packing in the
    silencer needs doing again.

[1] Must give up my habit of going to the local multi story car park for
my Malossi / Scoprion Braapp fix.
[2] It would actually be quiet if it wasn't for the go faster engine bits.

  10. Somebody's making a huge markup. It's only a tenner for a cubic yard of
    the stuff.

It's free where I am right now, my housemate has a Transit Luton van
full of bales of the stuff on our drive.

I still have to grin wryly when I see you supporting loud cans, you
know. Mister "I hate race cans" has turned all the way. That empty
Daytona race can sounded fuckin' awful from 20m away, too - and was
audible, even at urban speeds/rpm for at least half a mile.

I had to pay £2, because I don't have room for a bale of the stuff.. and
I don't have a drive, or a mate with a Transit full of it. Besides, it's
much cheaper than the rip off prices bike shops charge for a tiny little
    bag of the glass stuff.

Oh yes, I remember at the last BOSM I went to, Loz was extolling the
virtues of a quiet Micron (?) end can he had fitted to a bike.

It sounded lovely, your hearing is fucked from listening to all that
    silly screamy rock music :)

I am not very keen on screaming 4-cylinder race cans, but triples and
V-twins are a different matter, which is why my Gixer and ZX9R had
    Quill T3s.
