One of these days I'm going to strap a can to the seat and run it to
empty just to see how far I can take it. In theory, at 45mpg it should
have about 40 miles on reserve, so a 170 mile range should be
acheivable. In practice, one would be so gentle with the throttle at
this point that it would prpbably give even more than that.

200 miles on a tankful, anyone?

You should come live in Holywood perhaps. It's probably easier here
    than in Hollywood.

If I moved to Holywood I'd last about 6 months before having another
major heart attack. The women are absolutely fucking gorgeous and so
friendly that even I can pull there.

I have seriously pulled the reigns up, it was getting stupid. It's
either that or going into the Gonzo business.

About 6000RPM and a quick flick of the wrist and yet it does - it's a bit
surreal though as the long travel suspension means you actually go quite far
before the wheel actually leaves the ground :)

    <favourite question>

What do you think of the screen?

I get a little buffeting at speed. I raised it up one position tonight
when we got home. Looks wise it's okay.

    Not going to - have.

An MRA Vario screen - it works very well for me. It has a little spoiler
    that diverts the air flow.

The chap who's bike I've mentioned up ^^ there somewhere has a Givi one
which he seems happy with too.

Not sure what you can get in the States but I suspect there will be lots.

I'll have a look around, but I'm not all that unhappy with the stock
    screen.

However, there's "excessively modest" and "pitiable".

That'll be the green-eyed monster coming into play then. Sorry if you
aren't getting any, I'll tell her the next ones from you.
