  1. Not again!? You fed up with them or them fed up with you?

Well, it has been 4 years. Not a bad innings in IT .. !

New boss (hatchet man) & the new broom is sweeping clean ... i'm not
the 1st, but it's certainly bending TUPE rules ....

Is there an employment lawyer in the house ;)

That's the point. Although it's slightly smaller, I still found it
    pretty comfortable.

I think the tank shape has a lot to do with it.

I'm thinking of a Tuono-style bike as a replacement for the GSXR next
    year.

All I can come up with so far is the Tuono, obviously, and the KTM 990
    Superduke.

Can anyone thing of anything else? I'd like streetfighter style, no
less than 120bhp and no "de-tuned for torque" engine crap.

And not a Bandit 12, too heavy.

The 2006 fazer thou... same power as this year's R1 at 150BHP.

You know, it might even be enough to make me upgrade from the ZRX..

Just go to your local newsagent and buy a copy of MCN.

If you haven't got the spare cash for a paper then phone Taz
motorcycles on 01733 358555. They're still advertising them at that
price this week. They're in Peterborough and I haven't got a clue what
they're like to deal with but at that price wgaf? I don't even think
they're pre-reg (doesn't say so in the ad) so the price quoted is
    fucking mental.

Just think about it, get the train to Bedford on a Friday night, do
beers and curry and I'll take you bitch to pick the bike up on the
    Saturday. Not very appealing.

I thought to myself 'Looks like it'll keep the wind off quite well' and
didn't concern myself with whether it looked cool or not... Must be a
    sign I'm getting old.

If it's from Taz then it's more than likely a parallel import.

I don't want to keep the wind off.

My simplest criteria for a new bike are:

As good as a GSX-R1000 to 120mph in all ways, handling, acceleration
etc, but without the stupid topend speed I never use.

I'd love to know how these naked bike end up being so heavy as well.
That FZ1000 is nearly 200kg dry and SV1000 is around 180 odd. Damn
sight more than the 160 odd for a GSXR.

Yesterday while I was in the bike shop I saw a football player sized guy
ride off on a ZX10R. Kinda funny looking (to me anyway). Another guy
rode off on a K5 Gixxer thou. Business is good for the bike dealers with
    the petrol prices climbing.

    Bear says...
I haven't really tried to sell it apart from when Porl's K4 was for
sale. I won't sell it to any ukrmer anyway, unless they're ok with
buying a once written off bike at absolutely top money.
Absolutely top money because the bike is immaculate and low mileage.
I'll sell all the extra special bits like the AP Racing brakes, Ohlins
damper, Gilles rearsets and Maxton shock seperately on eBay, unless the
buyer wants to pay me lots extra for them.

A lot more of the frame is steel, and where it's cast instead it'll be
thicker than on a supersports bike.
