It's not that I can't spot them, it's that I cannae suppress the urge
to buy then, especially if they're cheap...

3.1415 on the flounce-o-meter. Must try harder.
Well, you barge in here with no fucking clue whatsoever,
obviously. For starters there are two bikes in my .sig that cost 3k or
more, the rest probably cost 3k altogether and even in their various
non-working states they are better that a Hyosung that you need to do
    up after three years.
There is no Suzuki in my .sig so WTF do you keep harping on about
    them?
I gave you some decent advice. It just wasn't what you wanted to hear.

Rayrosher came up with the following;:
Hence one of the reasons they're less than £400 brand new ... they fall
apart and can't easily be mended due to the cheapest of cheap methods used
to bring all the parts together. Try and get replacement swing-arm bushes.
It's easier, cheaper and better to get some machined from Phosphor bronze by
a local machine shop. The priginals are not made from any kind of 'normal'
    bearing/bush material ...
ICBW, but I believe, acc to my next door neighbour who bought one, that you
need a special tool which is unobtainable, so you have to resort to ....

    wait for it .....

    *ding* the Angle Grinder.

Or other such inplement of destruction.

You then need to drill, tap and thread the barrel for a replacement stud.

However, he did say he'd screwed it up a bit and that the exhaust flange
_should_ have slots so that the domed thing shouldn't need undoing at all,
but that it was still virtually impossible to remove the exhaust without
first taking the heads and barrel off, 'cos they build them with the exhaust
in situ in the factory, and put the barrel c/w exhaust into the frame as a
    unit.

'Course, neighbour isn't well known for his mechanical prowess, but happened
to mention it when we were discussing the merits of his bike compared to my
sons Yamaha DT, which had a hole in the exhaust seam that needed welding ..
and he has welding kit .. ;)

He now has a Yamaha ......
£250 for an 03 plate ... and it needs 'doing up' before it 'looks like a
nice thing' and no-one should take the piss ... LOLOLOLOL

  6. If your ability to find an exhauist is as good as your ability to find
where to post, you'll never get that bike fixed.

Best you **** off straight away then.
Actually it's a Kawasaki and it cost a lot more than £3k.
You'll burn in hell for that comment.
Try asking for advise on a decent bike and you'll get it. The problem
with your bike is that most of us want to see it in a skip.

  9. Well I lost any claim to my darsy inspired tagline months ago. Far too
much competition and most of it from allegedly straight people.

There certainly seem to be many more of the former nowadays, especially
amongst the 18-23 student demographic. It took a while for the gaydar to
    recalibrate....
