It always makes me titter when people jump on someone for a commercial
post & try to toast their account for 'breaking the rules'. I presume
these same people never, ever break the speed limit, and would be
perfectly happy to get a fine & points if they did, even for doing
    71mph on a motorway.

After all, rules are rules & anyone who breaks them should be punished
in the severest way allowed. Anything else would just be hypocrisy or
    NIMBYism.

Right, I get it now. This is the post "in the other thread" to which
you referred, is it? You made a reply to Joe, who had responded to me
dismantling Brummie's apology. Because of this - let's face it -
pretty fucking tenuous connection - you assumed I was having a go at
    you elsewhere?

I'd thought more of you, Preston. From both the tenuous connection
POV and that of the dog's breakfast of a post above, in rebuttal of
which I concur with Simian. You're talking bollocks, man.

For cod's sake, it was *awful*. I'd have to trawl high and low to find
something worse. Whaley bad, I mean why bother whiting it? Mind ewe, Bob
Monkfish could probably use it in a routine somwhere. It would be shelfish
not to give him the chance to flex his comic mussels around it, so you
    should send it off, sharkish.

I think I should stop, now.

Gurnard why, but while I wa sout on the pike ealier I was thinking about it.
I saw a lovely side-carp combination as well. If I spend a couple of squid
on a 'Fish of the british Isles' book, I could keep it up for ages, but
then eel be thought a bit of a bore, and that would be a bit bleak. This
whole thing smelt a bit from the start, frankly. Salmon else can take a go,
I'll just perch here and watch.
