To all that I've offended posting IntaRide products,

I apologise for advertising the IntaRide 80 XL Pro equipment on this
newsgroup. I didn't read the FAQ, I never knew it existed! I presumed the
newsgroup was in the public domain.

I've just started working for IntaRide and last night I was "experimenting"
to try and impress my boss! Therefore, you must understand that the post
was unauthorised by IntaRide management. I arrived for work this morning
and I've already received my first verbal warning!

As a keen biker, I read this forum regularly and I would not intentionally
want to offend or upset fellow bikers. Had I read the FAQ, this wouldn't
    have happened!

    I'm really sorry!

    Rob

Suspect if the "forum" had been read frequently then the attitude to
commercial postings would have been clear irrespective of whether or not
    the FAQ had been read.

    "brummie365" <> struggled to ejaculate:

    Posting spam, brummie.
Public domain it may be, but much like the BBC, commercial
    advertisements are not allowed.
Now, this is bullshit of the First Order. There are many mentions of
the FAQ, on a daily basis. Not only that, but a link to it is posted
weekly. Not only that, but commercial posts like yours attract the
same response yours did - and any regular reader would see that.

This means that you are either lying through your teeth, bullshitting
like a bastard, or incredibly stupid. Or trying to re-spam the group.

Which one is it - or is it all of the abiove?

OK, he's mentioned the company three times more in this, his latest
post, so let's see if he can get him his P45 by the weekend, shall we?

Fair enough, he's a blatent spammer, but we shouldn't be quite so
vicious beyond reporting it. After all, Hog has mentioned his own
company by name at least that amount of times in the last week in
    posts.

Don't worry about it, some folk just live to moan. I actually found it
useful, and other groups allow advertising but usually limited to site
    links.

Too many in today's world ready to stick the knife in whenever they can then
wonder why society couldn't give a toss about each other.

You must lead a perfect life which allows you to post the hypocritical crap
    above then?

If folk make a mistake then they should be *told* about it so they won't do
    it again, *not verbally abused*

He says, posting at the top. Not been round here for long have you,
fuckwit? Give examples of groups that allow advertising: groups in
the uk* heirarchy as I quoted - and not the *advert* groups. Let's
    see what you've got.

Or you can **** off back where you came from and let that place
disappear under a mound of spam if you like, but leave this place to
    sort out its own, eh?

Or just **** off - your call.

There's nothing hypocritical there. The hypocrisy was in the post to
which I replied, Mr Clever. Unless you would care to prove otherwise.
You do it your way, but kindly don't presume to tell me how to conduct
    myself.
