Off to look at some bikes with the intention of buying tomorrow, does anyone
know of a good HPI checking company that take debit cards over the phone but
    don't charge the earth?

I used the AA for my car a while ago but they seemed a bit expensive for a 5
min check, still better than losing the car though due to outstanding
    finance.

    Cheers muchly

Getting all excited at the thought of getting back out there without the
traffic jams I have become used to in the car.

  2. FFS, just use the AA, RAC, HPI, or anyone. The differenc ein cost isn't
that great, when you consider the total spend.

    I used RAC last time.

To be honest, it's not losing the vehicle that's the big risk - it's
finding out it's been smashed up and put back on the road. Or clocked.

Oddly, I don't worry about that sort of thing so much as losing the
    vehicle. Perhaps I should.

Just for anyone else who is looking for a HPI, I ended up using the RAC who
charged £25 for a good check which included stolen checks on the V5 and the
    MOT cert.
