7. Take the bike to a garage

Having not done the above on Sunday afternoon [1] my face now resembles that
of a crashed messerschmidt pilot, and I am partially sighted in my right eye
(for the time being).

Ho hum, happy days.

Reminds me of a mate of mine trying to strip a (1/4 full) petrol tank by
throwing matches at the filler hole from 25 yards... Impressive fireworks
when he managed (on his third box of swan vista) to slam dunk a burner in
the whole! Took out a recently creasoled garden fence. Neighbour not
impressed!

Well, having sloshed in a couple of litres of cold solution and allowed it
to stand for half an hour I was not impressed with the results. So having
drained it, I sprinkled in some granules, followed by a couple of litres of
boiling water.

The result was fairly spectacular, in that it erupted like Vesuvius.

Unfortunately my face was in the way

So now I have a very sore eye and a damaged cornea.

From 4/7/00...

Tried similar with a friend's RS100 Yammie.

Exhaust off, spud over the engine end.

Petrol down silencer end.

Apply lit match to opening.

Woof!

Found the baffle in a neighbouring garden.

No sign of my eyebrows, though.
