    Hi,
My Ducati SS900 has been under cover for 2 years. What precautions should I
take to get it going again? I'm guessing a trailer to pick it up to
    deliver to a dealer?

Any recommendations on a Ducati dealer in Melbourne?

    TIA,

    Nick

Change all the fluids, drain any fuel from the tank and carbs (if it has
them) inflate tyres, charge battery lube chain and go for a ride (assuming
    it starts).

PS: as its a Ducati, polish it and ride down to the Cafe for a Double decaf
    latte.

new battery, remove and clean carbs, rinse tank out with new petrol,
pump up tyres, lube cables, ride the damn thing.

Knobdoodle's addled brain managed to mash into the keyboard thusly :

no no you must deliver it unto the dealer...for only the dealer knows the
    mysteries that lurk within.
shouldnt take them more than a week or two to resusitate your
motorbicycle...and will probably leave you change out of $1000!!
