How not to land a chopper

  1. Doesn't show up on the gingeometer, but it seems to be broked anyway.

  2. I'm no expert, but my first thoughts were that he was coming in a bit quick,
giving him no time to +/- on height.

The old ones are the best ones. May not though have been here before.

The landing was clearly a bit dodgy but it was the (un-necessary?)
takeoff where it all went really wrong.

How was it broked? Seems fine to me, but I still need to sort out the
    results page a tad.

  7. Maybe it didn't like FF, but the result display was a bit
displaced/fragmented although it seemed to show no result. I've just
tried the same URL and it comes up with my post of last night, perfectly
    legible.

    Seems ok now.

I'd seen it on YouTube before but this one was only added a few days
ago. Perhaps YouTube needs a gingeometer?

Ah that's why. It's normal operation as I've not had the time to
implement the display changes that I needed to. I need to get a round
    tuit.

  16. CH-46 Sea Knight. He was too low and too fast. Looked like he was
trying to be all steely-eyed and lantern jawed to impress the audience
and put a wheel in the nets. His second mistake was to try and get
    airborne again.

You need to see some of the videos they show you on the offshore
survival course. Some are helicopter and some are just things burning
    but none are very encouraging.

Having to pay to go on one? I always enjoy helicopter flights because
I'm on an enhanced hourly rate to be there.

I'm pretty sure I've never paid for a helicopter flight and I've had a
    fair number of them.
