How do you get the stains out

Discussion in 'UK Motorcycles' started by steve auvache, Sep 16, 2004.

  1. Stains from that black water stuff that you get in the central heating.

The reason I ask is that I have just turned on the heating and the
radiator in the bathroom has sprung a leak.

Indeed, I can afford a warm water shave every three days now, whether I

Isn't that how to treat a head injury and shouldn't
it be in the "Missed Opportunities" thread?

Which reminds of a bizarrely anti-semitic Thomas the Tank Engine story.
    Honestly.

  11. Indeed. Mustn't forget the leather.

Jeremiah Jobling, wasn't it? Bear in mind this is from memory, which is
fucking frightening. I am truly terrified at what other memories a
random post of yours could bring up.

I live in a state of perpetual fear of what I might be thinking next.
Some times m thoughts sneak up on me and make me think odd things usually
when I'm supposed to be concentrating on something else.

    Ohh. coloured lights...pretty.

Well, that's this British idiocy of having carpet in the bathroom to you.

  15. It was somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the
drugs began to take hold. I remember steve auvache
On the carpet? If it's a wool carpet, it's pretty fucked. The black
stuff is mainly iron oxides and is a sign your radiators and boiler are
    slowly dissolving.

Did the leak occur from the bottom of the radiator? If so, it's possible
the rad is paper thin at that point.

It's about this time you should start worrying about the state of the
other rads and replace if necessary; flush out the entire system at the
same time. Use corrosion inhibitor after you replace the dodgy ones
