I do not consider that a riders confidence can be related to
pathology. You have stated that you watch riders but do not listen, I
guess you stop watching when the cheqeur drops because Rossi has had a
guy dressed up as a chicken on the back of his bike on the slowing
down lap and has had a toy gorilla on his back on the podium!! Words
fail me with this character but I don't think he should take this to
F1 because Nigel Mansell will give him a Dr Costa stage 2 kick in the
Bo**ocks. Preferably hard enough to put him back on a bike.

    I said "borders on".

Why do you give a damn about how these twits behave when they're not
racing? Rossi is young and has been demonstrating his astonishing
talent since long before you or I ever heard of him. Young talented
athletes have their asses kissed by admirers from a very young age and
they tend to take longer to join the ranks of actual adults as a
result. Drivers and riders, that are any good, are usually of well
above average intelligence and they, eventually, grow up.

Nigel Mansell, who had his own time at behaving like a spoiled child,
isn't going to have any say on whether Rossi drives F 1 over a little
off track, immature nonsense. If someone like Ferrari wants him, he'll
    drive.

Oi! We don't need no steenking cars in this newsgroup. What's with all
    this F1 crap. ;-)

Nigel Mansell did his share of whinging in his time. Now he's an IoM
special constable and part time golfer with very little to do with F1.
But. In his time he had truly colossal cojones. Anyone who played
chicken with Senna or drove round the outside of Berger in the days of
turboed, ground effect F1 cars with no suspension deserves huge respec'.

As for Rossi, we might only have this year and next to enjoy his talents
in MotoGP. Better enjoy it while we can.
