Domhnec bored us all completely to death with wittery prose along the
    lines of:
<G> My nick is of no relation to Cabron, luckily [1]. :)

[1] Although of course, some people may dispute that fact.

  5. Am I missing the point, or should there be an accent (tilde to you) over
    the 'o'?

I don't think so, but I'd have thought your level of Spanish is a damn

There should be, but before software developers cared seriously about
internationalization support, adding exoting characters out of US7ASCII
charset produced bizarre effects in the resulting text in newsreader. So
people used to snip accents (and it is "accent" to me too... in Catalan ;-)

  11. I wonder what percentage of folks reading this have the slightest idea
what you are on about. That's not a criticism by the way, simply
curiosity. I for one have some idea, but I certainly have never read rfc
2822, and almost certainly never will.

I don't feel like digging into RFC's now, but perfectly remember my 'è'
being turned into fancy long escape sequences. But that was in the 20th
    century, anyway.

Thanks, Domènec. That route was exactly what we'd planned anyway, but
we're now booked into Hotel La Morera - 31st August if you happen to
    be around!

Best route from San Sebastian to Bagneres de Luchon? Last September I
ended up crossing northwards from Sabinanigo (Spain) to Laruns in
France, and thereafter eastwards via Argeles-Gazost, Luz-St. Saveur,
Bareges and Ste Marie-de Campan to Bagneres de Luchon. This route was
very scenic, and with lots of hairpin bends, albeit not always with
optimal road surface quality. I also continued the route suggested by
Domènec to Andorra, which was enjoyable (perhaps most the Sort to Adrall
pass, because of the high road standard).

Before that I had planned to cross the pass between Isaba (Spain) via
Arette to Tardets-Sorholus (C137-D132) - which was highlighted in the
BIKE "Brilliant Roads Guide" leaflet last year. However, intense rain
forced me to change route plans that day. Did I miss a ride of a
    lifetime?

    Cheers - bon voyage

Thanks. Actually, I'd not made myself clear to Domènec. We're staying
the previous night in Gavarnie. To get to there from Sab Sebastian
we're planning to take the road between the two passes you mention -
over the Col du Somport and down the Aspe valley.
