Been hot here too, on the odd day. Mostly dry in these parts.

Just in time for a result. Have you seen the cricket?

Beer was drunk and bollox has been talked, business as usual really.

Yeah, we went to France on holiday. The last 2 nights in the Somme were,
well, how can I put it... like the Somme. Worst rain and thunder I've
ever camped in. I loved it [1]. Horse loved it and SWMBO started
smacking me for being such a bastard as to make her camp in the Somme in
    a thunderstorm.

Meal in Angers was possibly the best I've had when eating out and was
excellent value (and I don't think contributed to [1])

[1] Apart from the fever, rash sickness and diarrhoea - which is a laugh
in a tent at the best of times, but even more so when the bog is on the
other side of the campsite across a road and you're camping in the worst
rain and thunder you've ever camped in.

I was hoping to, but those arseholes at Channel Four put the
highlights on while I was riding up the M20, the bastards.

I'll see your rain and thunder and raise you flash floods and 100,000
    students.

    No.

Only 32 on the terrace today. And a mere 17 Celsius now. This cold weather
    is getting me down...

Then again, at least it is now cool enough to get the gear on and ride the
bikes to tomorrow's Cahors International Trial event... :)
