    Hi,

Anyone know where I can get the metal sprial doodads that I have seen
on some bikes. Basically I have a small problem with the fuel hoses of
the 400 getting kinked under the tank unless routed just "so" and the
wraps should prevent this from happening.

    Anyone know what I mean?

I also need another slipon end can 50mm or so after a slight coming
    together last weekend.

The metal spirals around the fuel lines on my old gixxer weren't for show.
They stopped the thin-wall fuel pipe kinking. You could get them from a
Suzuki dealer or a scrapyard. But a better solution is to get some decent
thick-wall fuel pipe, in longer lengths, and route it so it doesn't kink.
On the gixxer that meant using the 'wrong' outlets on the petrol tap.
And as I've been sold petrol pipe that turned out to be petrol soluble,
it's best to stick with a brand such as Goodyear, available at Halfords.

The pipes are OK ish, but whats happened is some cock in the past
(likly me) dropped the tank on them and folded them over themselves.
This has created a spot where they now fold very easily - I failed to
qualify in the last clubmans race becuase of it - no fuel to the carbs
see - what I have seen in the past is tightly wound metal type coils
that go over the pipes and prevent it.

They are not for show as they are just a grey steel colour. And dont
    look like anything above.

    Ill keep looking.
