    "BORG" said to us all
Not a tenner certainly as i cant afford it!
However, i took great delight tonight in impressing upon my 7 and 5 year old
the importance of what they were giving 50p each to for red nose dau.
Also, we voted for ade edmundson on the fame academy, and we bought the red
    noses etc ad nauseum.

I have to admit ( and im not easily swayed by emotional tear jerky stuff)
but watching the stuff in africa as well as here, i did feel a bit teary at
times, when looking from my kids POV of course, <cough>.
    soooo............anyway,

Ireland vs ummm someone we are going to beat tomorrow eh?

    :)

PS. My mum thinks youre all great (except Des, who's a ****)

The kids watched it. Nelson mandela appeared. Who is that mum? So they
had a quick lesson in politics and the debt relief rather than charity
    discussion.

Having thought about this small said 'I swear if I ever see that Tony
Blair I'll smack him round the chops and I don't care if I get done
    for it'

Bless. Another couple of years and she'll just call him a ****.

But it's not once a year, is it? It's all the fucking time. Every
year. One "good cause" follows another like night follows day.

If it did any fucking good whatsoever we could have stopped by now.

For the first time since it started I've actually been at home to watch
it - unfortunately. 'They' quoted how much it cost to feed a child a
dinner..the difference after watching Jamie Olivers School Dinners and
having to reach a budget meant that the UK was actually c20p perchild
over those in Africa. Am I missing something here?

I don't know. What point are you trying to make?

African schoolkids should be fed cheaper food than English kids?

African farmers should be paid less for their crops than English
    farmers?
