IME he's doing none of those things. All he's done is prove that the
'protection' on DVDs is laughable and 'Hollywood' is all in a snit cos
    they spent shedloads on it.
    See above :)

Little Timmy Crotch gets some new legs, and I get a F4 Senna.

He has a West Ham credit card and West Ham shampoo, ffs. I think a
shirt is pretty much mandatory for such obsessive fan-dom.

  7. bugger, erm, yes.

I have two [1] of this years strips. then again, they are special 125
year shirts. available for one season only.

Then again. i probably wear them more than any other top I own.

[1] one main blue strip, short sleeved and one long sleeved goalie
    shirt.

  9. TBH, I'm not sure whether Ben has a team shirt. he has Hammers related
clothing but not an official shirt.

FWIW, on the IOM Ben & I compared how sad we fared against each other
and I lost by a big margin. I guess mainly due to the fact I was a
shareholder in the club and traveled 500 miles for each home game.

I got worse after that too cos I only missed two home games in the
three months I lived in Basel. I only missed then cos one wasnt
feasible due to having a meeting two hours before I could get a flight
back and the other was on the telly.

my chrimbley pressie to myself was a nice Everton ring too.

Actually, I haven't bought a replica shirt for three or four years. I do
buy a lot of other club merchandise. I've a West Ham doormat, for example.

No you weren't. That was a serious suggestion and you got caught. Then
you tried to play the "irony" card. And you know it.

  15. so do some investigation as to what is going to be issued and buy only
the version you want. I've got so fed up with CDs being monstrously
overpriced when albums are first released that I either find a good
discount outlet which undercuts the big record stores or just wait for
the inevitable discounting or sales a few months later.

Play the greedy bastards at their own game and deprive them of their
excessive profits. You just need to ignore the hype and learn some
    patience.

  17. Not everyone can be so strong-willed.
I, on the other hand, got one version given to me by a Tesco
cock-up [1], and ignored the other, thereby getting the
    Two Towers for nought.

The principle still annoys me, though. Mind you, it's
not really any different to the days when the record
companies would release several versions of a single, all
with different picture covers, in the hope of selling
    multiple copies to fans.

[1] They over-charged me, and therefore gave me my
money back, and let me keep it.
