No, I'm about to move and it seems rents have tumbled round here
recently to the extent that I can pay less, get a bigger place and
    have a garage to boot.

So I'll have somewhere to store a second bike.

Why would you want to kick your garage?

I would lace into it, don't give it time to heel.

Could I interest Sir in a 1982 Yamaha RS200. A fine example of an early
80's Japanese classic. Thrill at the gnats dick power band. Gasp at the
total lack of damping and swoon at the 'anything within 6 foot of the
    apex will do ta' handling.

Heh. I got a quote for an 1800 quid ZX7R today (a la darsy), just
    out of curiosity.

Thick end of 900 quid TPFT. Why me???

    Age? Points?

    I'm ... not 21 anymore, I've only scored 3 points and my ZX-7R costs me 350
ish TPFT thru Carole Nash. and when I joined them it was 'cos I wanted to
fit a totally illegal exhaust and my current (at the time) insurer wouldn't
cover me for that. Carole Nash didn't even care.)

I do live in a sleepy little corner of zummerset which might help keep the
    premium low.

27, clean licence for 10 years.

Only thing against me is 1 year's NCB as a result of a ZXR400 being
nicked in 2002. Which is hardly my fault!
