Bill & Bill hooked up yesterday at Joe's Coffee Shop in Irving. It was great to be able to put a face to the name. We sat for a few hours shooting the breeze about... everything. Along with our discussions on how great the current Republican admiistration is doing both at state and federal levels (sic) Bill was able to get interviewed about some bridge condition issues affecting Irving. Of course he had to make sure the camera man got his "good side". I had a lot of fun talking with Bill. He let me know about some of the fun he's seen on two wheels in the last few years. The story about a horney doe trying to run him the Vulcan down was a good one. Ask him about it. The mental image I was drawing is still making me chuckle. The lunch and conversation have made the few days off I've had fun and relaxing. Finishing it up with a conversation with Bill got my mind back into gear - yeah, really - he said stuff that actually made me THINK. Kudos Bill, I've been running on auto-pilot for a while now due to the work schedule. I hope I'm even half as sharp as he is when I reach his age. Brian - you have a cool old man there. Thanks Bill for the lunch and conversation. I had a blast.
