Shit dude! Are you still concerned on the wobble thing? The poster
(probably an illegal alien anyway) said they only really saw the
wobble due to wind and with the deflectors.

Shit, my Bird wobbles if it's hit with wind. The most noticeable is
the wind from a semi. My Bird does it, my Hurricane does it. Any aero
bike does...especially the frame mounted fairing bikes. NASCAR found
out about such reactions in the late 80s and early 90s with their cars
and as they were making them more aero. They'd get hit with a blast of
wind sideways and get completely out of control up in the air in the
fan's laps and all. The more aero you shape an object, the more it has
to be locked into the line of direction. In a disruption, being a
change of wind from the front to the side, it then acts like a
    football thrown sideways.

Come to think of it, I believe that movie Indian Crap Goes Faster (or
whatever) had a small mention of it. They were looking to make the
bike more stable so they poked a dildo and blew it.....or something
    like that.

Don't sweat it. You'll get used to this tendancy....not blowing
    dildos.... :)

Actually, my Jeep has a steering wobble between 45mph and 55mph. This
is due to the steering dampner. A brand new one will be okay, but as
it wears it gets the wobble back. That's the nature of a hiked up Jeep
with a lift kit and 35" tires.

    I don't know about a Lexus....that's a pussy car.

    Mercedes? A Nazi car....

OK then.... substitute your choice - Corvette, Mustang,
    Expedition, Suburban, Volvo, Nissan(Infinity), Toyota,
Hyundai, Honda(better not use them, they've probably
already got the wobble), Audi, BMW, Buick, Cadillac,
Chevrolet, Dodge, Ford, Kia, Lamborghini, Ferrari,
Land Rover, Lincoln, Mazda, Mitsubishi, Porsche(that's
a great example), Saab, Saturn, Volkswagen, etc. <g>

    BrianW. says to GaryW:

    ''I don't know about a Lexus....that's a pussy car.''

bjay says: Yes, I imagine that's a positive thing, for the Lexus owners,
all that ''poon tang'', they probably turn down, to merely take a
leasurely -nice- drive, around town. <g>
